Friday Favorites

HAPPY FRIDAY! Another week down and I couldn’t be more excited to get some extra sleep and relax this weekend. Favorites posts are some of my favorite posts (see what I did there?) to read because I absolutely love finding new things to try from other people’s recommendations. Tarte Salt Lyfe Lipstick
I’ve heard several bloggers rave about this lipstick and I ended up receiving it for Christmas (thanks Caitlin) — I’ve worn it pretty much every single day since! It’s the prettiest natural, mauve pink color and stays on for so long. It’s very moisturizing as well and I rarely have to reapply it.

Ralph Lauren Woman Perfume
Honestly, this smells so freaking good. Justin loves it too, so that’s another bonus! I smelled this for the first time around the holidays last year (2017) and have loved it ever since. It has such a feminine, classic scent and I love the simplicity of the bottle.

This girl is amazing! I stumbled across her true crime videos through my extensive Chris Watts research (lol) and I love how informative she is. You can tell she puts in an insane amount of research and time into her videos with each part of a lot of the cases she covers being about an hour long. These series of hers have been my favorites so far:

Dirty John podcast
I’d heard of this podcast, but wasn’t super interested in starting it until I heard Lauren Elizabeth rave about it in one of her recent videos. As a true crime lover, I had heard of Dirty John and had listened to/watched a few shows dedicated to him, but this one is an entire series documenting his antics. IT’S. SO. GOOD. It’s dramatic and intriguing, and truly something you won’t be able to stop listening to. I finished it in two days!

I think this women is my queen. Again, I found her through my Chris Watts research and she is so hilarious and has information about the case that I hadn’t heard elsewhere — she’s even in contact with Shannan’s family (she has a video on her channel that Shannan’s brother sent to her thanking her for her efforts). She says absolutely everything I’m thinking and you guys HAVE to watch her videos reading love letters Chris has received in jail. It is pure GOLD and she cleverly named the series “Prison Babes.” 😂 She also coined the now popular nickname for the mistress, Nichol Kessinger, “North Korea.” 🤭

With the second-round snowstorm we’re supposed to get this weekend, they babies are going to be glued to my feet! I’ve talked about them on my Instagram story, but they’re my favorite pair of slippers I’ve ever owned and they’re super inexpensive. Grab ’em while you can!
