I’m a 30-year-old Indiana native, wife, mom and business owner. Originally from Westport, IN, I live in Indianapolis with my husband Justin, our daughters Clay and Scottie, and our spotted dog Lucia (named after our honeymoon in St. Lucia). Justin and I met in 2012 at the Welcome Bash during our freshman year at Franklin College and we got married in 2017.
My creativity and love for writing led me to start my blog in September 2015 when I was a senior in college, where I’ve been posting ever since. It quickly became a hub for my thoughts, interests, tips and inspiration, and as someone who had always struggled to find the perfect hobby before this, this feels like home to me. My content reflects my life and has evolved with me through the years — from college, engagement and post-grad, to marriage, buying our first home, becoming a mom and everything in between. As a fashion and lifestyle lover, I’ve loved sharing my favorite things along the way too.
What is my day job, you ask? I went through a big life change in July 2021: leaving my 9-5 job and pursuing my once freelance design/social media business, Bone & Bloom, full time. It’s been an unpredictable, scary and exciting ride, and I’ve been successfully working for myself ever since.

what camera do you use?
I use my iPhone 11, Sony Alpha a5000 or Canon Rebel t3 with an EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens, and an EF-S 10–18mm f/4.5–5.6 IS STM lens.

How do you edit your pics?
I edit my photos in Lightroom with some tweaking in VSCO. When editing graphics, I use Adobe Creative Suite.
