Things to Try this Week: Watermelon Coconut Milkshake, Bubble Ponytail + More
Are you a Pinterest addict like me — always pinning recipes, hairstyles, and workouts to try? Here's a collection of my favorite findings to try out this week for a little change-up in your daily routine!
SWEET TREAT
I stumbled upon this cute, vegan shake on Pinterest by Cook Nourish Bliss and I'm dying to try it out! Combine watermelon, coconut milk, maple syrup, and vanilla for a sweet, pink treat. Click here for all the info on how to create this drink!
AT-HOME WORKOUTS
Now that I'm settling into my new apartment, I'm so excited to have the extra space to add fun workouts into my routine. Working out in the comfort of your home offers the convenience you need in your busy schedule. Check out From Roses' blog post for tons of workout videos you can follow along to in your living room this week between laundry and emails!
BUBBLE PONYTAIL
If you're spending most of your day in the office like me, your hair is the last thing you want to worry about. The everyday top knot and ponytail can get boring, so I like to mix it up by doing this bubble ponytail. This adds texture and volume (especially to second day hair), plus it's a unique look that you're bound to get compliments on. Watch this video on how to recreate it.
BLOGGER TIP
Bloguettes shared this info graphic, mapping out the best times to publish your content on each social media platform for maximum exposure. This is very helpful for us bloggers, those working in the social media realm of PR, and others with online shops — or content creators. Keep these days and times in mind when publishing your next post!
BELT IT UP
I have yet to try this one out, but I've been eyeing this trend for months! I love the silhouette that a belted pair of jeans and a tucked-in top creates. This figure-flattering look is easy to recreate with items that are already in your closet! Mix up the look with cropped jeans, graphic tees, or a classic white v-neck.
DIY: MODERN YARN HANGING
I created something similar to this a couple weeks ago (check out my blog post on it here) and I'm planning to make this one as well with my leftover yarn! This is such an inexpensive way to dress up a blank wall in your room, and it's so simple to customize to match your existing decor. Get all the details about this cute piece on Homey Oh My!
