Our House: Before & After Transformation

Hi everyone — coming at you live from Day 2 of quarantine! I hope you all are well and that my blog can help serve as a positive, lighthearted distraction during this time. I figured I’d do a post on the place where I’ll be spending all of my time these upcoming days/weeks: my house. Our house has gone through quite the transformation since we first bought it back in September 2018. Buying a fixer-upper, we were (and still are!) excited to transform this shell with some features we loved into a space that reflects who we are and feels like home. Though there are still more projects we plan to do, keep scrolling to see before and after pics of a majority of the rooms with details on all the work we’ve done to execute our airy, styled space!

Painted shutters and front door, replaced light fixtures

Still want to change the mulch and do landscaping

Refinished ceilings, removed previous lighting, added can lights and pendants, new flooring, painted cabinets, added cabinet hardware, new fridge and dishwasher, added butcher block top to island

Still want to replace the rest of the countertops at some point and get a new stove

Painted walls, changed mirrors, painted cabinets, new cabinet hardware, changed to rubbed oil bronze fixtures (toilet paper holder and towel rack)

Still want to do new flooring, new faucet/water fixtures, new sink, maybe a walk-in shower at some point
