My Recent Fashion Purchases

I like to purchase a few carefully selected, go-to clothing pieces every few months to help transition through the seasons while simultaneously getting rid of items I no longer reach for. I try to buy items that can be worn for work and leisure, as well as warm weather and cold weather, so I can get the most bang for my buck. I really don’t shop on much of a regular basis and I’d rather save my money and buy a small handful of items (10 or less) all at once a few times a year. Today’s post is a collection of my recent fashion purchases with details on why I love them, how to style them + links to shop each piece!

I find myself reaching for this set more than anything, especially when I get home from work and want to change into something more comfortable. It’s the perfect cozy fit, and I think it could be worn out of the house casually (I’m picturing with sneakers or slides) or even slept in. I like pairing the top with flowy pants to work or with jeans on the weekends. Since it’s neutral, it matches almost everything in my closet — because of that, I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of it 5 times over already. It comes in a few other colors and patterns as well!

This top is a piece I felt like my wardrobe was lacking. With all the loose pants I’ve been wearing lately, I wanted a neutral fitted shirt that wasn’t a bodysuit that could be paired with anything and everything — this does exactly that! I love Free People, but not the price tag, so I was excited to find this for a very reasonable price on Asos at the time (last time I checked, you can get it online at Free People and Nordstrom as well). As for these pink pants, they have my name written all over them. Another incredibly comfy piece, these work for all occasions since they’re easy to dress up or down. I often wear them with healed boots and a sweater to work.

Another favorite combo of mine! I love graphic tees, and I instantly fell in love with this one when I saw it online. This is another piece that can be successfully styled with pretty much anything. These brown pants are unlike anything else I own and I love the drawstring detail and super high-rise fit. I usually like wearing this outfit with sneakers or my cream booties.

I didn’t expect to like wide-leg jeans, but I DO! The best part is that since they’re so loose (and I swear this is the thinnest and stretchiest denim ever too), they don’t feel like jeans at all. This is the first pair of jeans I’ve ever owned where I have zero desire to run home and change out of them at the end of the day. It appears these may be out of stock since they’re no longer on the website, so if you’re interested, check back later and search “skater jean.” I also bought this pink, oversized boyfriend tee and it’s become a new staple for me. It comes in a ton of different colors and I need to buy more!
