My Recent Fashion Purchases

Welcome back to the blog! Thanks to Christmas and some present shopping that turned into shopping for myself (oops), I’ve gotten some new clothes lately that I’ve been really loving. Each of these pieces have become new go-to staples for me that I’ve had a lot of fun styling. Keep reading for details on each of these purchases with sizing info and links to shop them all!

PUFFER COAT

This is my new favorite coat! I got this as an early Christmas gift from “Justin” (I stalked it online until it came back in stock, then ordered it on our card from him 😜). It’s from Urban Outfitters and is the perfect khaki/mustard color. I love the cropped fit and that the hood is removable if you wanted to take it off. I have it in medium and I can happily report that the sleeves are plenty long enough for my fellow tall people out there!

FLUFFY CARDIGAN

I received this Free People cardigan I’d been lusting over for Christmas and it’s truly the softest thing ever. Because of the price, it probably isn’t something I ever would have bought for myself, which made it such a fun gift. It’s really more like a coat thickness-wise, but I also wear it over my clothes around the house when I’m really cold. The color combination couldn’t be any more perfect for me too. I love it so much! I have it in a medium, but I could have worn a small. It runs big.

SLIPPERS

I asked for these beige slippers (also shown in the photo above) from Amazon for Christmas and I really like them! One of my Instagram followers told me they didn’t like them because they thought the bottoms weren’t soft enough, but I don’t find that to be the case. They come in a bunch of cute colors and I’d say they run a little bit small, so maybe size up. They’re great quality for the price!

NIKE AIR FORCE 1s

I’d seen these all over Instagram and was really loving how people were styling them. I had also been in search of something to replace my Adidas Superstars that I got so much wear out of a few years ago, and these seemed like a good alternative. I love a chunky sneaker and with being all white, I knew they’d be easy to pair with lots of things in my closet. Once I decided to finally pull the trigger and order them, BOOM — they were sold out everywhere! I patiently waited for a week or so for them to come back in stock and I was able to snag them from Asos. I’d say they run true to size (though I’ve heard some people say to size up half a size) and the fit is very comparable to my Adidas, which are very comfortable. I’ve dressed them up and down with leggings on the weekends and cute trousers on weekdays for work. I think they’re worth the hype!
