My Best Etsy Purchases of All Time

Hey guys! The idea for this post randomly popped into my head this weekend, and as a huge Etsy fan, it seemed very fitting to share here on my blog. If you’re unfamiliar with Etsy or have never purchased from there, get ready to hear and ear full of why you should. Keep reading for my best Etsy purchases of all time, from wedding items to gifts for loved ones — specifically your significant other!

I love Etsy for a lot of reasons, one being that purchases made on the site support small businesses. As I’ve said lots of times, I come from a family of small-business owners, so supporting others in the industry feels so natural to me. You could say this blog of mine is a small business too, so giving back to the community feels so right.

Etsy also provides a lot of unique, customized items that you can’t find anywhere else, a majority of of which are very affordable. Adding a personalization gives that special touch that will make your gift stand out among the rest, and Etsy makes that so easy to do. Now let’s get into my favorites!

Cake Topper — Cork Country Cottage
If you’re wanting anything custom for your wedding, Etsy is the place to go. The number of cake topper designs available are seriously ENDLESS and you can get just about anything you can imagine. We loved how ours turned out and now we’re trying to figure out what we can do with it — should we keep it packed away in a wedding box somewhere or find a way to display it somehow?

Guest Book — Print Smitten
This was another great wedding find. I wanted something practical that would also look pretty on a shelf long after our wedding ended. Ours turned out beautifully and it currently sits on a shelf in our living room with our wedding book, which we get to see everyday. I can’t recommend this shop enough!

Penny Keychain — Jewelry Everyday
I gifted this to Justin for our one-year dating anniversary and it’s one of my favorite gifts I’ve ever given — I have one to match! It’s such a fun little momento to carry around with us that’s small, but has such much value to us. You can customize it in lots of different ways and even select the year of the penny with a date that’s relevant to the person you’re giving it to. We plan to each get a nickel version of it in February for our five year anniversary.

Leather Keychain — Made by Perri
This is another gift I gave Justin a few years back for our two-year dating anniversary I believe — he’s carried it every day since! Again, the quality of this is amazing and it’s the perfect low-key, mature loop to carry around your keys with. You can customize the inside and outside with any message of your choosing so it’s totally unique to you.

Passport Covers — Bramble and Beene 
I was on the hunt for the perfect passport covers for our first trip out of the country together last year (our honeymoon in St. Lucia) that were custom pieces that we’d keep forever. Traveling can be hard on your belongings and make them break down faster, so I wanted something durable that won’t look dirty or too worn down with age. I found ours through Bramble & Beene on Etsy, who I’ve since gotten close with and worked alongside with — you’ll see tons of my photos on their shop! This family is the sweetest.

Luggage Tags — Bramble and Beene
These were gifted to my Justin and I from Bramble & Beene team and we LOVE them! They’ve stayed hooked to our bags since the day we got them, they’re sturdy, high quality and pieces we’ll keep forever. This was a fun way to commemorate our marriage with my first official use of “Mrs.” This is a great gift for everyone!

Wedding Candy Bags — Details on Demand
I was searching back through all of my Etsy purchases and had almost forgotten about these! As favors for our wedding guests, we decided to do a candy bar and allow everyone to pick what they wanted to take home. These custom bags had our names and wedding date, which were a fun little detail.

Engagement Journel — Flamingo Road Journals 
Justin and I got engaged a week before Christmas in 2015, so I purchased us journals to write in to each other and gave his to him for Christmas. We wrote in them periodically throughout our engagement and exchanged them the night before our wedding, and it was so special. I recommend everyone to do this because it was the sweetest experience. These are items we’ll keep to maybe show our kids one day, or re-read on our anniversary.

Genuine Marble Desk Wedge — Engraving by Jen
I gifted this to Justin for his first year of teaching two years ago. I chose to put his full name and Mathematics on it so it could grow with him no matter where his life takes him. This desk wedge is incredibly high quality, heavy and feels like money well spent. This is a gift anyone would be impressed by! It looks like the shop is currently on a break, but be sure to check back if you’re interesting in purchasing.

Personalized Leather Money Clip and Wallet — My Personal Memories
This has been my most recent purchase that I got for Justin for his birthday back in May. He’s always been a huge wallet lover, so he picked out this one in particular and it’s so fitting for him. I went with the brown one, and with Justin’s everyday wear and tear, it’s held up beautifully. Shipping was quick and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to, and I think it’s something Justin will have and use for years to come.
