Matching Holiday Pajamas: Christmas 2022

The holiday season has officially begun! We bought our matching Christmas pajamas early this year and decided to wear them while we set up our tree last weekend, and I think it’s going to be a new tradition for us. We had so much fun listening to Christmas music while we did it and I’m so glad we snapped all of these pictures.

Justin and I (and now Clay too) have worn matching Christmas pajamas every single year that we’ve been together. It started out as a joke the first year we were dating (they were Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle PJs…), and we’ve kept up the tradition ever since! I go on a mission every season to find the best ones for the best price, always scouring the internet for the cutest prints/patterns that we haven’t done before. We went with these oversized dark green and blue plaid ones this year and I LOVE them! I wanted something loose and super comfy on my pregnant belly and these definitely do the trick.

Clay accessorized all on her own with her pink beanie :’)

She grabbed the first ornament and hung it up unprompted before I even explained what we were doing! We didn’t know she knew what “decorating the tree” was. A genius!!!

I added these nutcracker ornaments to the tree this year and it looks like Clay loves them just as much as I do since she keeps taking them off when I’m not looking and saying “cracker!”
