Instagram Inspired Summer Graphic Tees Under $40

Summer weather has hit Indiana and I couldn’t be happier to FINALLY be making the full transition into warm weather clothing! With hot days comes the need for tons of tees, and a lot of the time a fun graphic one gives the perfect finishing touch to an outfit. If you’ve been keeping up with your favorite fashion accounts on Instagram, you’ve probably seen tons of images featuring graphic tees in cool streetwear and travel shots. Keep reading for my favorite Instagram inspired summer graphic tees under $40 + tips on how to style them!

I’m a sucker for a good graphic tee (I’m seeing them all over Instagram lately!) and since they’re pretty much sold everywhere, browse around your favorite stores to find some that appeal to your personal style. I went to Urban Outfitter’s yesterday and really loved the flower one and the Rolling Stones one below — they’re super soft too! I also think the Levi’s ones are classic and are pieces you can wear for years and years.

As for styling, the great thing about graphic tees is that they literally look good with everything — and don’t be afraid to mix and match with prints too! You can create an endless amount of outfit combinations with just a few graphic tees and a few pairs of jeans, skirts, shorts and dresses (printed and non-printed). One of my favorite ways to wear a graphic tee is over a dress and knotted at the bottom, so I suggest giving that a try sometime! For nighttime, throw a leather or denim jacket on top and you’re good to go!
