Grand Opening of Indiana’s First Warby Parker

Grand Opening of Indiana's First Warby Parker

I was invited to attend the soft opening for Indiana’s first Warby Parker location at the Fashion Mall at Keystone last Thursday and had the best time! Keep reading for my experience, what I love about Warby Parker + the frames I chose that I can’t wait to wear all summer long.

If you haven’t heard of Warby Parker, it’s a prescription glasses and sunglasses retailer offering eyeglasses at the most reasonable prices. Here’s how they define themselves:

Warby Parker is our name, and non-insanely priced glasses are our game. We offer eyeglasses with single-vision prescription lenses from $95, prescription sunglasses from $175, and progressives from $295. For every pair of glasses or sunglasses sold, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need.

All of this screams YES to me! I love companies that give back, so it’s great knowing your purchase is helping someone in need too. In addition to having such a wide selection of styles at amazing prices, Warby Parker can ship frames to your door to try out at home, free of charge. This is awesome for those of us that want to give the frames a little more thought and consideration from the comfort of our homes before purchasing. Justin and I loved learning more about the company during our visit and the staff was so sweet and helpful!Grand Opening of Indiana's First Warby Parker I fell in love with so many cute frames, you guys. All the tortoise and pink-tinted ones were my favorites and I had to try on a handful of them over and over again before I could make my decision. It helped that they all happened to match my outfit as well. 😉  I chose to go with the Hadley sunglasses in Opal Tortoise (shown above) with blue-tinted lenses.

I’ve been really into round lenses for a bit and this pair fit my face shape really nicely. I’ve found that some round frames are too close together and aren’t quite wide enough for my eye placement, but these are perfect! I think this pair is a great middle ground between classic and trendy, with the goal in mind that I can wear these for years and years. The quality is absolutely amazing and they’re so comfortable, plus they have a nice weight to them without being too heavy — the case feels luxurious as well!

Below are some of my other favorite styles.

Thanks so much to the Warby Parker team for having me! If you missed it, I shared my experience at the event on my Instagram story, which is now saved under my “Events” story highlight on my profile. If you’re local, be sure to check out their new store or visit their website to find some frames that fit you and your lifestyle. I hope you all have a great start to your week & I’ll see you in my next post on Wednesday!
*These glasses were gifted to me for free. All opinions are my own.
