Friday Favorites - Abby Saylor Armbruster

Hi guys! Happy Friday! This week absolutely flew by for me and I can’t believe it’s already the weekend again. Today’s post is jam-packed with all of my recent favorites — I’m introducing you to some brands I’m collaborating with, the link to the star necklace you guys are loving, my thoughts on the latest episode of Riverdale and more!

Windsor Star Necklace
I saw Olivia Jade wearing this star necklace a few weeks back and instantly needed it! I stalked her comment section of one of her videos and found that someone had shared the link to it on Windsor. I figured it may have just been a dupe, but she later confirmed that hers is the Windsor one too. It was on sale for only $5 when I bought it, so I went ahead and got it in both gold and rose gold. These suckers are in high-demand and are now on backorder, but you can preorder it to receive it in May!

Riverdale (*SPOILER ALERT*)
First and foremost, I want to know who you thought the black hood was before he was “revealed” a couple weeks back. I went back and forth on who I thought it could be, and my latest guess was Kevin because there was a scene where they clearly wanted you to see that his eyes were visibility green. I couldn’t fathom how he could possibly be the black hood, but that scene and the way it was filmed made me think.

As for this week’s episode, it was so much crazier than I expected! I anticipated it would be one of those random episodes that a lot of drama TV series do where it’s just for fun and doesn’t actually further the storyline at all (remember One Tree Hill’s 1920’s episode?), but BOY was I wrong! As for the dead girl, have we seen her in previous episodes, or is she new? I can’t remember! And I don’t think Ethel was the one that sent the letters from the black hood and she was probably framed, but what do you think?

I also want to know who your favorite character is. I absolutely love Fred (he’s so genuine and sweet!) and the comedic relief from Cheryl. Betty and Jughead are great too because they’re complex characters that help the story move along. Veronica and Archie aren’t my faves and are super nauseating to me, not to mention they’re kind of bad people, but maybe they’ll grow on me eventually. This is the only show Justin and I tune into every week, so it’s definitely a favorite!

Crime TV
Since I’ve pretty much watched every crime show on Youtube and have to spend 10 minutes looking for one I haven’t seen, I somehow stumbled upon Australian 60 minutes episodes and have been completely hooked! Unlike most U.S. shows on YouTube, these uploads are all super high quality and feel as if you’re watching it straight from your TV. I’ve linked some of my favorite ones below.

Wantable
I’ve started a collaboration with Wantable that I’m super excited about! Wantable is a service that delivers personal style straight to your doorstep. You take a style quiz online and they match your with pieces that are totally you, and anything you don’t like can be sent back. I unboxed my first Wantable package on my Instagram story this week, which can be viewed under my Style highlight on my profile. I’ll be trying the pieces on and talking more about the brand on Instagram within the next few days, so stay tuned!

Stencils
I received some of these in the mail this week from Stencil Revolution and wanted to share them with you guys. You probably know I’m a big DIY-er and love creating, so I think these will be so fun for future projects. I’m super into stars right now, so I got a star stencil as well as clouds, the state of Indiana, a pretty hydrangea and I think one or two others. I’m thinking I may use these to make watercolor prints for our apartment & I’ll be sure to share my projects with you!
