Beauty Haul: My Repurchases + New Products I'm Testing

Hi everyone! It’s been a minute since I’ve done anything like this on my blog, so I thought it would be fun to share a beauty haul featuring my most repurchased items, as well as the new products I’m testing. I’ve been knee-deep in bing-watching makeup videos on YouTube lately (mostly Manny MUA), so I’m feeling like it’s time I dump some of my faves on you guys. 😉

I’m the kind of girl that loves trying new products, but not nearly as much as I love finding my go-to favorites that I can use without fail for years. For me, makeup/beauty is all about finding what works for you and your lifestyle, then staying loyal to those products and brands whenever possible — especially when your budget doesn’t allow for too much exploration. So if you’re looking for your potential holy-grail products, keep on reading.

MY REPURCHASES

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
This has been my go-to for years! If you’re one of the few makeup-wearers out there that haven’t tried applying your foundation and concealer with a damp sponge, you’re missing out! This sponge gives me the most even skin tone and I love how quick and easy it is to use. I dampen mine in the sink before fully ringing it out to begin dabbing on my makeup.

No7 Stay Perfect Foundation with SPF 15
I’ve repurchased this one several times and it’s my favorite foundation I’ve ever used! This one is medium coverage and buildable if you’re wanting more of a full-coverage look. In my opinion, it truly feels like a second skin and you can’t be mad at the $15.99 price point. You can purchase this online or in store at Target (and maybe Ulta too!). For reference, I wear the lightest shade in Calico and deepen it with bronzer a bit when I have a tan.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil
I’ve been using this guy for years and it’s done wonders for my brows. I love a full, thick brow with natural looking hair strokes and this pencil helps me achieve that with ease. They carry a wide variety of shades and the thin tip allows for super easy control, so this definitely one everyone can try. Though the pencils are higher end, they do last awhile and are worth the money if you’re as into brows as I am (*very*).

Lorac PRO Blurring Translucent Loose Powder
I tried this powder out recently and just made my first repurchase because I’m absolutely obsessed! If you have oily skin like me, this is such a great powder to set your t-zone for a fresh, matte face that lasts all day. I haven’t had to plot my face once during the day since I’ve started using it, which is amazing in comparison to the 2+ blots I’d have to do on a typical day without it. I don’t know why it took me so long to try “baking” my face, but now that I finally have, I’m never going back!

Philospohy Renewed Hope in a Jar with SPF 30
I’ve been using this moisturizer for the past couple years and I love how it works on my skin. If you’re looking for something lightweight and gentle, definitely consider this one. I decided to get the one with SPF 30 since summertime is basically here (finally) in Indiana. I actually considered getting one of the wrinkle prevention ones, but decided to skip on it since it was double the price — maybe in the future!

NEW PRODUCTS I’M TRYING

Kopari Coconut Melt
I’ve had this on my “to try” list for years and decided to finally purchase it when I saw it discounted for $20 at TJ Maxx over the weekend. Believe it or not, I’ve never used coconut oil until now! I think it will be great for my super dry spots (nose, heels, etc.) and for extra moisturized legs in the summer in between shaves, exfoliating and self-tanning. The smell is to die for — it’s basically summer in a jar! I’ll share my thoughts with you guys as I use it more.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Shine
I’ve heard lots of people try out this gloss, so I wanted to give it a try. I’m a big Buxom gloss girl, but I like this one too so far! I got the shade Almond Nude because I figured it would pair well over just about any lip color. Though it doesn’t have that tingly feeling that I love so much about Buxom’s, it’s pretty on the lips and isn’t sticky whatsoever. So far, I recommend it! I’m already eyeing a couple more shades I want to try out. 🙂

Those are all my recent beauty purchases! Do you use any of these products? I’d love to hear some of your favorites in the comments! Also, let me know if you’d like an updated makeup routine video with baking and my new brow routine included. Thanks so much for reading & check back for another new post on Friday!
