Weekend Getaway

My mom and I went on a little trip to Louisville on Friday for a final getaway for the summer (fun fact: I set up this blog there!). We stayed at the Galt House, which is an older, classic hotel in Downtown Louisville right by the water. We went on this trip hoping to do some shopping, but soon discovered there aren’t many shops in the area. This certainly didn’t dampen our trip and we spent our time exploring downtown and sitting by the water watching the boats pass by. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a more relaxing mini vacation!
