My Recent Purchases
From makeup and skincare to clothes and random mom stuff, here’s everything I’ve purchased over the last couple of months! All items are linked at the bottom of this post.
Supergoop Glow Screen
I can’t even begin to count the number of times I’ve heard this hyped up on social media. Curiosity finally got the best of me and I’m really liking it so far! It gives a subtle glow (which I love for summer), it’s easy to apply and it feels good on.
Merit cream blush
I had seen this blush raved about by a few girls that I follow and decided to give it a try. I don’t own a lot of cream products, but I’d like to move more in that direction for my summer makeup routine. I bought the shade Beverly Hills and my first impression has been great! It’s really buildable, which I like, so I don’t have to worry about accidentally putting too much on when I’m doing my quick 5-10 makeup.
Dae Hair products
I’ve never been much of a hair product girl, but Dae had caught my attention and I’d been wanting to try their stuff for a while (also, I’ve been following Amber Fillerup for ages). I finally went to my local Sephora and picked up a few things: the moisture mask, styling cream and hair oil. I haven’t tried the hair oil yet, but I’m loving the other two — especially the styling cream. 10/10. All the products smell really good and the packaging feels luxe, more than I expected.
Sol de Janeiro lip butter
I feel like I always have dry lips (1000% because I don’t drink enough water, even with my trusty Stanley cup by my side 🙃), so the second I heard one person on TikTok say this was amazing, I went out and bought it. I now find myself grabbing for this all the time and it’s my new go-to! I LOVE that it’s jumbo — it makes it quicker and easier to put on, and it’s overall just a better experience than a normal sized chapstick. The scent is really great as well.
Aerie wireless bra
Since I started lactating halfway through my pregnancy, breastfeed for 14-15 months, and couldn’t wear anything tight on my chest because I was super susceptible to mastitis, I pretty much wore only loose nursing bras for a year and a half. When my breastfeeding journey came to a close, my boobs shrunk down a full cup size… and now none of my pre-pregnancy bras fit anymore. I simply can not go back to wearing bras with a wire, so this Aerie one is perfect for me and very comfortable.
Aerie biker shorts
I’ve had the long legging version of these as my favorite leggings for years, so it made sense to snag the biker short version too. I lovvvvve the convenience of the pockets!
Abercrombie tennis dress
I find myself throwing this on often! It’s so comfortable and fun to style in different ways, and the fact that it has shorts underneath makes my life a lot easier when chasing after a toddler. A summer staple for sure.
Prada replica bag
I have never bought a replica designer item before, but I found myself randomly watching dupe videos on YouTube the other day and came across such a good 5-star review for a Prada bag dupe. I was honestly so intrigued that I had to see it for myself. If you can’t afford/justify buying high-ticket items (especially a $1,000+ bag like this one… OUCH!), I think dupes are a great option. It also gives you the opportunity to try out a fashion trend and have fun with it without having to make a huge investment. Let me know if you’d like to see my review on it when it arrives! Disposable placemats for Clay
I’ve been meaning to buy these for months! Highchairs at restaurants never have trays, so you have to push them up to the table so your baby can eat. These come in a pack of 40 and they stick to the table for one-time use, and then you can leave them at the restaurant after. Genius because you don’t have to take the restaurant germs home with you!
Extra stroller fan
It’s only the beginning of June and it’s already hottttttt during our morning walks. I bought an extra fan so I can have one blowing on me too and it’s game changing! This one has three speed settings, lights up if you need it to and is great quality. I find that the charge lasts for quite a while too.
