My Christmas Wishlist
This post is dedicated to everyone who suddenly loses all brain cells when asked “what do you want for Christmas?” and has to scramble to figure it out, like me. Justin requests a list from me every year, and somehow it keeps getting harder and harder. Here are the things I came up with and hopefully this gives you some ideas of what to ask for or some things to buy for someone in your life this season!
As a full-time stay-at-home working mom, honestly, all I want for Christmas is a peaceful shower and a back/foot rub — but aside from that, here are the other items I have my eyes on.
Makeup bag
My makeup was in a large ziplock bag on the top of my vanity for at least a year (yikes) until I recently moved it to a random basket… so needless to say, this is the top item I want this year. I’ve heard really great things about this Beis one and I think it will be perfect for what I’m looking for! My breastmilk cooler bag is from Beis too and I love the brand.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
I’m looking for any opportunity to take a little break in the evenings and treat myself, and a face mask seems like a great way to do that. Again, I’ve heard tons of raving reviews about this one and I’ve really been wanting to try Summer Fridays stuff. Apparently their lip balm is amazing as well!
Brown high-top Converse
I haven’t worn Converse in years, but these are really speaking to me. I’d love another pair of casual sneakers and I think having a pair that aren’t white would be a great addition to my wardrobe.
Knee-high chunky boots
I originally had the black pair of these on my list, but then I remembered that I own black chunky platform Dr. Martens, so getting these in a beige color makes more sense! This style of boot is super in this season and I really love them!
Aritzia leather pants
I don’t expect anyone to buy these for me, but I wanted to share them regardless because they are a wishlist “maybe one day” item. Again, these pants are super popular and come in a shocking number of colors. I think black would be a great staple for me.
Ambre Blends perfume oil in Solace
I wear this every single day (the blue bottle) and could use a refill. Ambre Blends is actually a local company here in Indy, but you can buy it online! They have a few other scents as well and I highly recommend them.
Acrylic lap desk
This gift makes tons of sense for how much time I spend working from the couch or on our bed, and I hope it’s something that would elevate my work experience in general. Also, I’m sure my back would appreciate it.
Oil diffuser + oil
I LOVE candles and I’m constantly running out of them, so I think using an oil diffuser would be more cost effective in the long run — however, I pretty much know nothing about them. Ideally, I’d like to recreate some of my favorite candle scents with oils, but that seems pretty advanced (please enlighten me!). In the meantime, using oils that are a one-and-done/good-as-is would be easy. I linked a few below that I’d like to try. If you have any recommendations for single oils or combos, let me know! My favorite candle scent ever is Ocean Mist by Sand + Fog, so my dream is to be able to replicate that as closely as possible with oils. I’m torn between a couple of different diffusers (both linked below), so if you recommend one over the other, let me know!
That’s pretty much everything on my Christmas wishlist this year! What’s on yours?
