Life Update: October 2015

Hello! It’s been a bit over a month since I did my last life update, so I figured I’d do one today!

Fall semester of my senior year of college is about half over, which is so crazy to think about. I remember the day I moved into college like it was yesterday! I’m taking all PR classes this semester and I genuinely enjoy each of them. It’s a great feeling knowing the information you’re absorbing in the classroom is useful and will directly apply to your career. I’ve gotten several opportunities to do projects that will be great portfolio pieces for me, so that’s always nice!

I’ve been enjoying blogging SO much! It’s the perfect creative outlet for me and I love having something to look forward to posting about everyday. The blogging community is so sweet and I’m very happy with the level of growth and interaction I’ve had since starting on September 1. I really enjoy brainstorming new design and content ideas/elements for my website. I’m excited to continue doing this and see where it takes me — creatively, personally, and professionally!

I will be graduating in about 7 months and I can’t even express how excited I am. 75% of my time is dedicated to planning my future and thinking about where I’m going to be in my life at the end of May. I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t fast forward to graduation at the first possible opportunity. My mentality is completely consumed by the thought of starting the next chapter of my life, which I don’t think is necessarily a bad thing. This way of thinking keeps me motivated and extremely excited and optimistic for the future!

Personal growth excites me. Building/growing my relationship, my career, and myself is something that is constantly on my mind. I’m always striving to taken everything to the next step. I’ve never felt so sure of where I am in my life, who I am, and the people that I’ve surround myself with. It’s a great feeling waking up excited to live life everyday, and I can’t wait to see how everything evolves within the next year.

There are going to be a lot of changes within the next several months and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
