Friday Favorites: I’m in a Magazine!

Another week has come and gone & I’m excited for the work day to come to a close and get the weekend started! I’m back with a Friday Favorites post today spilling everything I’ve been enjoying over the last couple weeks and recommend that you guys check out! This week’s post includes a feature in a magazine, my thoughts on the Jonas Brothers Chasing Happiness documentary, juicy true crime videos + more!

Kit Magazine feature
I’m in a magazine! Our wedding is featured in this month’s issue of Kit Magazine (four pages throughout if you want to try to find them 🤪), along with many of our vendors. I love reminiscing on this day and this is such a cool way to have it documented. You can pick up a copy at most Indy grocery stores (check the entryway of Kroger right inside the first sliding doors) or sign up online for a free subscription. I did a digital style feature for Pattern Magazine a couple years ago, but having something like this in print is extra fun!

Jonas Brothers Chasing Happiness documentary
I watched this the day it came out on Amazon Prime Video this week and LOVED it! I’ve been a Jonas Brothers fan since the beginning and it was so interesting to see how their journey played out and their perspective on it now, especially following their fallout with each other a few years ago. It’s so easy to think of celebrities as unrelatable and completely out of this realm, but seeing their struggles along the way really helps to further humanize them. You’ve got to watch it!

Tube tops from Brandy Melville
These Jenny tube tops are my new favorite clothing pieces for summer! Seriously, I’m obsessed! The only unfortunate drawback is that they’re “one-size-fits-all, ” however, I’ve seen girls with much larger chests than mine recommend these — so it might be worth it to give them a shot. What I love so much about them is the length because they’re long enough to cover my stomach, but cropped enough that they sit just above my pants. They’re perfect for me, so soft and come in several colors. I have them in mint and white, and I want to get the leopard print one next!
