Friday Favorites

Hi friends! Another week has come and gone, and it’s been over a month since I’ve shared some favorites with you on my blog. I post them here and there on my Instagram story, but I find it helpful to do compilations in posts like this since it’s easier to find and all the info can be in one place. With that being said, I hope you find some fun things that interest you out of my current obsessions!

Podcasts
With my longer commute to work, podcasts have become even more of a staple for me than they already were. There are a few episodes/series I’ve listened to recently that I especially enjoyed:

True Crime
I was scouring NBC last night trying to find where I could stream the latest Chris Watts special (what else is new?) and after I was sadly unsuccessful, I ended up watching a Dateline special called Internal Affairs on the murder of Sherri Rasmussen — and BOY was it good! It has a very unexpected ending and I was completely sucked in. Since you all have different TV providers and what not, I would just search it wherever you have access to NBC and see if it pops up!

90 Day Fiancé
I finally dove into this franchise on Hulu a week ago and I’m already on Season 5… but in my defense, I started it on a sick day at home, so that makes it a little better, right? 😅 I really can’t get over what these people will put up with for “love” — specifically what they will do to keep a partner they feel is extremely attractive and “out of their league.” Isn’t it more important to have a partner that’s also nice to you?! It’s so entertaining. Once I watch the Tell All episode, I Google each couple to see who is still together and who isn’t, and some of the results are shocking!

BECCA Glow Gloss
I shared these glosses several months ago, but I started using them more regularly again and have really been loving them! I think it’s the winter dryness rolling through that makes glosses extra appealing to wear again. On my minimal makeup days, I throw on Molten Mauve to give my lips a wash of color without lipstick, and I love throwing Metamorphic Gold over lipstick. They’re not sticky and have a really great consistency to them, so I highly recommend you give them a try if you’re in the market for a new gloss or two. The packaging is really cute and sleek as well, and I keep both in my purse at all times!

Tropical Smoothie Café
My special treat is going to Tropical Smoothie Café for lunch once a week since it’s only five minutes from work. My go-to order (literally, I don’t deviate from it) is a Beach Bum smoothie with dark chocolate and a buffalo chicken wrap. I scarf it down like it’s candy each time I get it because it’s THAT good. Or maybe I’m just addicted. We’ll never know. You’ve got to try it though!

Music
I’ve been listening to way less music lately with my constant stream of podcasts playing, but my favorite right now is Heartless by The Weeknd.
