Friday Favorites

Hi friends! It’s been a stressful week for me, so I’m so happy to be sitting down, unwinding and writing this post. It’s been over a month since I’ve done one of these and I truly can’t believe how fast time is going by! Anyway, keep reading for some things I’ve been loving over the last few weeks.

Dyson
Other than the Jonas Brothers concert (thanks Justin!), this is the only thing I asked for this month for my birthday. Truly, nothing says 26 like asking for a vacuum. 😂 This thing is lifechanging, especially with a dog in the house! It’s so easy to carry around and sweep the entire house without having to worry about unplugging and plugging it in every few minutes. I was VERY surprised by how much suction it has and I love that there are so many different attachments to use it in various ways. It’s definitely an investment (thanks so much, mom/dad!), but I love it and highly recommend it.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians
Justin and I got Hulu recently and I recently discovered there are 15 seasons of KUWTK on there. I’ve been spending a lot more time at home lately and this has been playing constantly in the background! I watched it a lot in middle/high school, but I haven’t kept up with it since probably 2012 or 2013. It’s a guilty pleasure show for sure and I’ve been getting some good laughs out of it! I may or may not already be on Season 10…

Euphoria
I heard a lot about this show online and decided to give it a try since it’s available on our HBO subscription. I had heard there was a ton of nudity and stuff in it, and that is definitely true. I usually really don’t like shows like that because I feel like it’s a tactic to get views on a show that isn’t great to begin with, but I’ve been trying to look past it because I like the storyline and the production of the show overall. If you’re able to look past it too, I think it’s worth watching. The music is so good! You can watch the trailer here.

Peach nails
I’m holding on to every piece of summer that I can, so peach nails have been a constant for me. I think it’s a great transition color because it’s sort of a nude or flesh-like, natural tone in a way, so don’t be surprised if I don’t change it anytime soon (or ever 😉). I get gel nails from Uptown Nails off of Southport Rd, if you’re local!

Gratefulness
I feel like I’ve taken a lot of good things in my life for granted lately while I long for the next chapter in my life. I’ve been trying to make a change in this mindset by consciously being more grateful, but I’m not going to lie, it’s hard sometimes. I have the best husband, the home of my dreams and the sweetest pup, and in many ways I’ve been blessed beyond measure. Sometimes I need a little reminder of that, you know?
