Friday Favorites
Welcome back to the blog! You have no idea how happy I am that it’s finally Friday — it’s been migraine city over here for me and I couldn’t be happier about the relaxing weekend ahead of me! Today I’m chatting about a few things I’ve been loving and would recommend, including spilling my thoughts and theories on Stranger Things Season 3 (*spoilers ahead*)!
Stranger Things Season 3 — WARNING: SPOILERS!
This was my favorite season by far. Though all the seasons have been good and enjoyable, Season 3 is one I’d actually want to watch again and again! The humor, suspense and storyline were all so spot on and incredibly entertaining, and I loved the character development too. They really hit a home run with this one! I want to know your theories on the ending: who do you think is the American the Russians are holding captive? My first thought was that it’s the translator guy, but how amazing would it be if it were Hopper and he’s not actually dead?! What if he was able to jump out of the way or into the Upside Down, or if the Russians were able to grab him somehow before everything exploded? Elle’s reaction to finding out he died KILLED me. I hate to think he’s gone for good and I’m crossing my fingers that he may have survived. It was also crazy to me that Joyce took the kids and left. I get it with everything she went through in that town, but it’s sad to see the kids plucked away from their friends and significant others. Also, I want to know who your favorite character is. Mine is Steve, but I loved the addition of Robin and Erica having a bigger role this season too!
Man in the Window Podcast
If you’re as intrigued by the Golden State Killer as I am, this podcast is for you. Even if you’re unfamiliar with the case, this is a good listen because it walks you through from start to finish. It includes interviews with people involved, one of which is the killer’s ex-fiancée, which is pretty interesting. The only bummer for me is that there are only seven epsiodes — I enjoyed it so much and wish it could have gone on longer!
True crime videos
It wouldn’t be a Friday Favorites post from me without a bunch of these. Here are some I’ve enjoyed over the last few weeks!
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Perfume
I talked about this a bit in my Gordmans blog post last week, but I had wanted to try this perfume for years. I’d always smell the samples of it in magazines growing up and now that I’ve been wearing it for about a week, it has lived up to it’s expectations. It’s less floral and sweet than the fragrances I usually wear, but I love how light and airy it is!
