Fall Baby Clothes Under $20 (Boutique & High-End Dupes)

Fall Baby Clothes Under $20 (Boutique & High-End Dupes)

Baby clothes are so fun to buy, but if I’m going to buy them, I don’t want to go overboard and I want what I choose to get to be affordable, comfortable and staple pieces. My goal has always been to get just a handful of items for each season (and any time she needs to move up to the next size) that can be worn and styled different ways, and I’ve definitely stuck to that and kept things very light. I do a lot of shopping for my daughter, Clay, on Amazon and I’ve discovered a lot of dupes through some shopping hacks, if you will.

First, often times, a lot of cute boutiques get their stock from wholesalers and you can find the exact same items on Amazon for cheaper. For example, I really love the clothes on Reverie Threads, however, I have found several of the same items on Amazon — so sometimes I’ll browse Reverie’s site and when I find something I like, I’ll search for the item (i.e. blue striped ruffle flare romper) on Amazon and find it cheaper. This doesn’t always work and not all pieces are on both sites, but it’s a great way to save money here and there when they are!

Another way I find really cute stuff like the items I love from places like Zara is simply by searching things like “baby coat Zara” on Amazon to find things that look like they would be sold at Zara. This obviously may not be a groundbreaking tip for any of you who already do this, but if this is new info to you, it really does work (and for adult clothes too)!

Last thing — another benefit of shopping on Amazon vs. other places is the REVIEWS, of course. I always read them before deciding to purchase and I don’t buy clothes that don’t have reviews.

Now that I got my tips out of the way, here are the new pieces in Clay’s fall wardrobe this year:

  • Purple & cream sweatshirt romper — waiting for this to come in the mail. For colder days, I pair rompers with knit tights.
  • Cream sneakers — love these because they are easy to put on, have hard bottoms and go with everything!
  • Two-piece set — I found this at Target the other day and I love it on Clay. It’s so soft and the lettuce hems are adorable. It came in pink in-store too and it looks like they have it in grey online as well.
  • Yellow sweater — waiting for this to come in the mail
  • Daisy romper — she hasn’t worn this yet, but the quality is nice and it comes with a bow, which is an added bonus
  • Patterned socks — waiting for these to come in the mail
  • White & blue sweatshirt romper — waiting for this to come in the mail

Not pictured, but here are some other fall clothes we have:

The last thing on my fall list for her is a coat of some kind, so I’ll likely share on my blog and/or Instagram when I get one. Where are you favorite places to shop for baby clothes? Let me know in the comments!
