Easter 2016
I hope you all had a great Easter! I spent the day in sunshiny Florida with my family and fiancé!
After receiving Easter baskets, we went to the Grassy Waters Preserve in West Palm Beach — which is basically a big nature park to walk around in and enjoy the scenery.
There were tons of places to sit down in rocking chairs and enjoy the view from the shade, which was really nice and relaxing on this hot day. After that we traveled to Frigate’s Waterfront Bar & Grill to enjoy lunch by the ocean.
I’ve eaten at this restaurant in the past and absolutely loved it, so I’m so happy I got to go back. John Mayer acoustic music was playing (I absolutely love him if you didn’t already know), a French bulldog was walking around on the patio, and I got to eat a huge plate of sweet potato fries… so I was basically in heaven. The food was delicious, the weather was great, and the view was amazing!

I had been dying to wear this tie dye maxi I got recently and decided that Easter would be the perfect day to wear it! It’s so comfy and effortless, and I love how the whole look turned out. I did a dutch braid at the front of my head to keep my hair out of my face and I paired the dress with a silver dangly choker necklace and strappy wrap around sandals. I’m obsessed with the intricate cutouts in the front and the backless/criss-cross detail on the back. Maxi dresses always make me feel like a princess — anybody else agree?!
We took tons of pictures throughout the day, as well as video for the travel diary I’m working on! I’m so excited about it and I can’t wait to get started on editing it and see how the final product turns out!
