A year after buying our house, we FINALLY have all of our light fixtures replaced! They’re bohemian and beautiful, and I couldn’t be happier with the ones we selected. Now that they’re all swapped out, I thought it would be helpful to do a collective blog post linking each one if you’ve ever wondered where they’re from or are looking for some good ones. Alright, let’s talk lights!

The lighting situation was one of the bigger projects that was tackled first. We switched out the sunken in industrial/commercial-like lights for can lights and these brass pendants over our island. I wanted something clear and globe-shaped with Edison bulbs, and these ones from Home Depot are perfect for the space.

This was the first light fixture that I got the most excited to buy when we bought our house. I had dream about having one of these rattan, basket light fixtures for the longest time and I absolutely couldn’t wait to see it up every day in my own home. This particular one is from Amazon and that seems to be the easiest and most affordable place to get this. In stating that, these can vary in price big time, so I suggest shopping around for the best one for your budget. This fixture is in your line of sight the second you step into our house, so I feel like it really sets the tone of our home decor style and overall vibe.

I mentioned this in an Instagram post, but if I were to design my dream light fixture, it would be exactly like this! I love all the texture and detail it adds to the space. The quality is great and the shipping took a while, but it was worth the wait. I’d honestly put it in every single room if that wasn’t psycho!

Justin expressed that he really wanted a fan for the bedroom, so I went hunting for a cute one and fell in love with this model! It’s modern and minimal while still fitting our boho interior. It’s super quiet too and comes with a remote with three fan speed settings and a button to turn the light on and off. We love it!

BATHROOMS

Our bathroom lights have arguably made the biggest transformation because the ones our house came with were dingy and likely the cheapest ones you can buy. I knew upgrading was necessary for that reason and because they were silver and the rest of our lights are brass or black, so I shopped around for a bit. These were my favorite finds and I recommend them! We got the same light for both our bathrooms, the 5-light version for our master and the 2-light version for our guest bathroom. They have 1-light, 3-light, etc. options of this style too. *Ignore the light bulbs, we need to order more Edison ones and swap them out.

LIVING ROOM

This is the light fixture I envisioned for our living room because it’s simple and modern, and it helps keep the space open since it’s thin and doesn’t take up a lot of space visually. Amazon has a ton of good ones, just be sure to check if it comes with light bulbs because most of them don’t. Each rod of this one is movable, so you can change it up by creating whatever shape you want.

Ah, the one and only room in our house that’s left me completely stumped. Since this space is such a big question mark for me, I wanted to utilize a light fixture style that I hadn’t yet gotten to incorporate in our home: wooden beads. We got this one from Overstock, but it looks like they don’t have it currently. You can find similar ones here.

Those are all of our light fixtures! I didn’t think it would take a year for us to replace all of them, but honestly, I’m glad we took our time with it to find ones we really loved. Thanks so much for reading and you can browse all of my other home-related posts here. Enjoy the rest of your day!
