ALEX AND ANI Store Grand Opening Event in Indianapolis
I was invited to attend the ALEX AND ANI store grand opening at the Fashion Mall at Keystone in Indianapolis on Friday, and believe it or not, this is actually their first stand-alone store in Indiana! Keep reading for a bit about my experience + my favorite pieces from their collections.
I was off work taking Justin to a doctor’s appointment this day, so thankfully the mall was only 10 minutes away from the doctor’s office so we were able to make a quick stop. My mom was with us, so it was so fun to get to take her to her first blogging event! I even got to gift her a piece of her own, and she chose the large rose quartz stone on a silver chain, which looks so pretty on her! It’s a piece that will last her a lifetime and goes with pretty much anything she’d wear, which is a huge perk.
They had music and a fun smoothie bar at this event, so of course I snagged one (I went with strawberry). Everyone hosting the event was super informative about ALEX AND ANI’s history, the brand’s message and what each of the collections represent, which I really enjoyed hearing about.
Something I wasn’t aware of before is that Alex and Ani has far more pieces than just the charm bangles we all know. They have so many different styles of bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings with tons of different vibes. As you can see in the first image, the pieces I chose are the moon and star ring wrap, star beaded bangle and the initial charm bangle. I’m a big fan of mixing metals, so I loved the gold color of these pieces in contrast with my engagement ring/wedding band and rose gold beaded Mejuri ring — it’s a perfect pairing in my book!
One of my favorites was the Liberty Copper Collection, which are jewelry pieces made from copper straight from the Statue of Liberty — insane, right?! A lot of these pieces include what appears to be dainty coin charms, which is a look I’m really into. I also really loved all of the star and moon items they have because I’m really drawn to those and think they’re so beautiful. Oh, and I can’t forget all the zodiac sign stuff… you already know that’s right up my alley. 😉
This event was seriously so much fun! If you’re in the area, definitely give the store a peek — and if you’re not, I recommend browsing their website or checking out a location near you. No matter what your taste in jewelry is, I truly think they have something for everyone. Thanks so much to the ALEX AND ANI team for having me!
