My Recent Fashion Purchases
Welcome back to the blog! It’s been so long since I’ve done any real clothes shopping, and since I love everything I ended up getting and I think you guys will too, I wanted to do a post sharing links to each item and my thoughts/review on each piece. Let’s dive in!
Abercombie Wide Leg Jeans
I’ve had my eyes on a pair of jeans like this for months (I can’t remember the brand, but there was a pair of high-end ones I was lusting over for the longest time) and when I saw these Abercrombie ones on sale for only $19.99, I was HYPED. This is my first pair of Abercrombie jeans and I wasn’t sure how they’d fit. A size 25 Regular was all that was in stock at the time, so I ordered them and hoped for the best. They were decently tight on my hips when I first put them on, but I decided to wear them to see if they would stretch out throughout the day and they did! I’ll let you know if anything changes after I wash them, but as of right now, I definitely recommend these. They’re really great quality and I love the fit and length. They look so expensive too!
*Update: They’re now back in stock, but very limited sizes are left and they’re back up to $88.
Urban Outfitters Graphic Tees
One of the most practical additions for my wardrobe is graphic tees. They can be paired with nearly anything, are great for year-round wear and can be styled in so many ways — not to mention that these double as sleepwear too! I picked up this Joy Division one and the two others linked below and I’m absolutely obsessed with them. They’re a “one size fits all,” so it will fit you depending on your body type. They’re designed to double as t-shirt dresses, so the possibilities are truly endless! Though the price is more than I’d typically like to pay for a t-shirt, the quality is a 10/10 and looks/feels like a more expensive piece. I think they’re worth every penny!
Tillys Cheetah Bike Shorts
This isn’t something I’d normally gravitate to, but seeing them styled so well on Instagram, I decided to give them a try and I actually LOVE them! You’re going to find me wearing a variation of this outfit on repeat since it feels like pajamas. I had my eyes on a pair of out-of-stock leopard bike shorts from & Other Stories so in the meantime, I got these $11 ones from Tillys and they’re super soft! I’d like if they fit a little tighter and were a little longer, but keep in mind that I’m 5’10 and they’ll likely fit you better if you’re not as tall. Overall, I recommend them.
Superga Sneakers
I’m going to do an entire blog post reviewing these, but I wanted to link them here since they were a recent purchase as well.
Amazon Prime Bamboo Initial Necklace
I’ve been wanting one of these bamboo initial necklaces for quite a while that are inspired by the expensive Celine ones. I love how they make a statement and are just another fun way to accessorize your favorite outfits or just plain t-shirts that seem to be lacking something. This one is only $12.99 and I’ve worn it almost every single day since I bought it. It’s great quality for the price and it looks high end.
Amazon Prime Hair Clips
These are so trendy right now and are such a fun way to add a little something extra to your look. Every store seems to be selling these right now, but the prices range big time. I wanted a handful that looked and felt like high-quality pieces for a fraction of the price. I picked up this set of six for $6 on Amazon Prime and they surpassed my expectations! They have a nice weight to them without being too heavy and they hold my thick hair in place all day. If you’re looking for the perfect set, these are it.
Free People Belt
I didn’t walk into Free People with the intention of buying anything, but I spotted this cheetah belt on my way out and it’s something I’ve been on the hunt for. I have a go-to black western-inspired belt from Urban Outfitters that I’ve been wearing multiple times a week for years, so I this one was worth the investment too since I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of it. It has the cowhide hair-like detail to it and is super cute.
Urban Outfitters Daily Planner
This isn’t a fashion item, but I wanted to include it. This girl needs to get ORGANIZED. I’ve found myself forgetting a lot of things over the last several months, so I figured buying a planner was a way to help solve that since digital ones just aren’t for me (I’ve tried — maybe they’ll grow on me in the future). This one is the prettiest peach color (my fave!) and has a big to-do list section, which is my favorite element of planners. It ended up being marked down to $19.99 and I really like it! I can’t find this exact one online, but you can check out their other covers here, here and here. Stay tuned to see if I get my life together.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I don’t shop for clothes often, but when I do, it’s a bit of a splurge like this just a couple times a year — so hopefully you won’t be seeing another one of these for a while. 😂 Thanks for stopping by my blog & see you in my next post!
