Friday Favorites

Hi friends! It’s been a hefty week, you know those ones where you feel like you’re playing a losing game of catch-up? I’m feeling so scatter-brained and behind on emails, blog stuff, etc., which is so unlike me — needless to say, I’ve been stressed! I’ve been committed to my posting schedule though, so I’m back today with a Friday Favorites post sharing everything I’ve been loving and what’s been keeping me sane through this hectic week!

 

Octomom Documentry
You guys are for sure laughing at me right now, but after Octomom randomly came up in conversation this week, I looked her up to see where she is now. This led me to stumble across a 2-hour documentary on YouTube and I watched the whole thing. 🤣 Honestly, I was super entertained! For those of you who don’t know, she was a mother of six (all children via IVF) who got pregnant with octuplets via artificial insemination. This woman is a single mom trying to take care of 14 children and it’s just as insane as it sounds. It’s also fun that the documentary has commercials in between from 2009, which is a serious throwback.

Crime Junkie Podcast
I started listening Crime Junkie podcast last month and binged it so fast! I think there are only a small handful of episodes I haven’t listened to yet, which is impressive. I had asked you guys for crime podcast recommendations a few times on my Instagram stories, and Crime Junkie is one them that I started thanks to you all. It’s actually hosted my two Indy girls, so that’s pretty cool.

Affordable Teddy Coat
I’ve been wearing this thing non-stop! I had looked for an inexpensive teddy coat at Forever 21 this time last year and couldn’t find any that were soft and thick enough, but I struck gold this year! I went in the store to feel out all the options (literally) and found the perfect one. It actually does a really great job at keeping me warm without being overly bulky and the nice cream color matches everything in my closet — can’t recommend it enough!

 

When The Party’s Over by Billie Eilish
This has been my favorite song this week by far! Billie has one of the prettiest voices and I love all of her music, so I was excited to hear that she had a new song out. This video is eery for sure, but the song itself is so beautiful. It’s interesting to read everyone’s interpretations of what the video means in the YouTube comments!
