I had the best time at my garden-themed bridal shower on Saturday! I wanted to document the event so I can look back on it in the future, so keep reading to see photos and details of my day!
I decided to go with a garden party theme since that’s the theme of our wedding as well. With how hectic and stressful wedding planning has been the past few weeks, I was so grateful to have a couple bridesmaids and their mothers plan this event for me. They did such an amazing job! I simply gave theme a color palette and they ran with it — all I had to do was show up!
My shower was hosted at Highpoint Orchard in Greensburg, IN. We enjoyed hors d’oeuvres (the fruit kebobs were my favorite!) and succulent cupcakes by Taylor Made Cakery, played a few games (guessing kitchen items starting with each letter of Armbruster, gift bingo, etc.), talked and opened gifts. It was so much fun to get together and catch up with everyone before the big day, especially with how crazy busy life has been lately.
I’ve never been a fan of having all the attention on me, so being the main focus at the shower was a unique experience for me. I never have big parties to celebrate myself, so it was so rewarding to be surrounded by people I love to in honor of my future and soon-to-be marriage.
Huge thanks to my bridesmaids Natalie and Stacy, and their mothers Pam and Kelly for throwing my beautiful shower! They put so much time, thought and effort into creating such an amazing event for me, and I can’t even begin to express how much I appreciate it. Thank you so much to everyone who came, for the well wishes, the generous gifts and for making my day so special — it’s one I’ll always remember!
P.S. Let me know if you’d like me to show some of the gifts I received in an upcoming vlog!
