Engagement Photos

Justin and I have been engaged for nearly 4 months and we finally got around to getting some engagement photos taken — and they turned out GORGEOUS! My cousin Caitlin took them while we were in Florida for spring break last week. Here are a few of our favorite shots!

I was so anxious about getting them taken because I'm super picky when it comes to photos and I wanted them to turn out well (plus I can't take myself seriously when other people take photos like this of me, so I just laugh and feel really awkward) — and I'm so happy with them! We took the photos at Dubois Park in Jupiter, which is really green with tons of trees + a beach with a gorgeous view of the lighthouse. It was crazy hot this day but luckily you can't tell in the photos! ;)

I wanted to wear a dress that was light, simple, & classic and I fell in love with this one when I tried it on. I found this dress at Forever 21 and loved the flowy, effortless fit and the criss-cross strap detailing. Justin wore a navy shirt to match the navy flower stems on my dress.

Since we don't plan on getting married until next year, I'm sure we'll be doing some more little photo shoots throughout the seasons to add to our little engagement photo collection. I couldn't be happier with how these turned out! Thank you so much Caitlin! :)
