Save the dates are the first preview of your wedding, showcasing who you and your fiancé are as a couple and what your wedding will be. I had no problem falling in love with tons of invitations (more on that in a future post), but for the longest time I couldn't find any save the dates that really captured my attention and made me think "these are the ones" — until I found these!
I could not be more in love with these save the dates! There were a few key elements I was looking for when I was shopping around for the perfect ones:

A place for a photo of Justin and I — Invitations are usually more formal, so I wanted the save the dates to be personalized with a photo of us!

I ordered our save the dates ("Golden Forage") from Minted. Minted has SO many design and customization options, as well as extra features that make the process so much easier. They offer this really cool feature called Address Assistant — this allows you to send your friends and family a link to your personal (and private!) address book via email or Facebook, where they enter their addresses and Minted prints each one on an envelope for you! If you can avoid handwriting all of those addresses, why wouldn't you?! :)
I love that Minted is so customizable, making your order one of a kind. You can choose everything from the envelope color to the font style, extra design elements, and so much more. Minted ships the envelopes directly to your house, so all you have to do is put stamps on them (unless you choose to order custom ones from the site) and toss them in the mail! Ours arrived within a week of ordering them, which was really awesome since I was so excited to see them!
